FiiO introduces KB3 keyboard with built-in headphone DAC/amplifier
FiiO has launched its KB3, a hi-res hi-fi keyboard with a built-in headphone DAC/amplifier. The KB3 is compatible with Windows, MacOS, Android and iOS, and incorporates two efficient CS43131 DACs, as well as two low-noise SGM8262 op-amps. Capable of providing a claimed power output of up to 550mW — supporting audio files up to 32-bit/384kHz and DSD256 — and equipped with both 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced headphone outputs, the company says a wide variety of headphones can be connected to the KB3.
With semi-transparent swappable key-caps, multiple pre-set options of RGB lighting, built-in step-less volume control and – thanks to dual USB connections – the ability to act as a docking station for mouse, USB drives etc., the KB3 measures (WxHxD) 329 x 43.5 x 140mm, weighs 1.06kg and comes in Midnight Black or Morning Silver.
Available to buy now for £139, you can find out more about FiiO's KB3 keyboard here.
